Yep....it's just that we are calculating off pricing that's out of the client's control and is up to 6 months old.

I tend to agree; however, the trending is still valuable. I have found pricing variability right before huge increases.

I'm beginning to think that a 6 month lookback in PharmaPricer is too much.

Very often the savings opportunities turn out to be the result of industry wide price shifts affecting virtually every client, and though even if we had just a 3 month lookback it's likely there will be false positives because clients have not purchased at the new price...with a 6 month look back we are hanging on to prices for 6 months that are likely not viable.
