We’ve always felt New Product Introduction is somewhat misleading, especially for smaller systems….because there’s a multitude of things they buy infrequently. This is especially true for Orthopedic Implants and more obscure sizes of many products. Our New Product Report should be able to identify those items NOT purchased in the scope of the report but HAVE been purchased in the past….including the MMIS number. It would be a compelling improvement….with a different twist on Trending applied…..”what did I pay the last time I purchased it”…..even if 2 years ago?
New Product Introduction reporting at the Chain level (instead of by facility as exists in the ImpactTracker), with no limit on the "benchmark period".
